1. Scope
This Policy explains how Phai Tech LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on the Salventia website, applications and related digital interfaces. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits, pixels, tags, scripts, web beacons, device identifiers and comparable tools used to operate, secure, remember or measure a digital service.
A technology may be first-party, meaning it is set by Salventia, or third-party, meaning it is supplied by another service provider. It may last only for the current session or remain until a stated expiry date or deletion.
3. Categories
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for security, network management, login, Booking flow, fraud prevention, consent storage and other essential functions. |
| Functional | Remembers non-essential preferences such as language, currency or display settings. |
| Analytics and performance | Measures how the Platform is used, detects errors and helps improve speed, design and functionality. |
| Advertising | Measures campaigns, limits repeated advertisements or supports interest-based advertising where such technologies are actually enabled. |
4. Live technology register
The Cookie Settings panel available on the Platform identifies the technologies currently in use, including their provider, purpose, category and duration. Only technologies displayed in that panel should be treated as active.
Because technology configurations change more frequently than this Policy, the live panel may be updated without rewriting the full Policy, provided that no new optional purpose is activated without the legally required notice and choice.
5. Consent and preference management
Strictly necessary technologies are used because the Platform cannot operate securely or provide a requested function without them. Optional technologies are used only where they are enabled and where any consent required by applicable law has been obtained.
Where optional technologies are present, the Platform should provide clear controls to accept optional technologies, reject them or manage categories separately. Rejecting optional technologies must not prevent access to core search and Booking functions, although some preference or convenience features may be unavailable.
You may change or withdraw optional choices through the Cookie Settings link. Withdrawal applies to future use and does not automatically remove information already lawfully collected; browser controls may be used to delete existing cookies.
Salventia records the selected categories, date, region and version of the notice where needed to demonstrate and respect your choice.
6. Strictly necessary technologies
These technologies may support:
- Secure sessions and Account login.
- Booking Requests and Booking confirmation workflows.
- Fraud prevention, load balancing and network security.
- Remembering privacy and Cookie Settings.
- Accessibility, language or other settings where required to deliver a function you requested.
- Error recovery and continuity of a transaction.
7. Functional technologies
Functional technologies may remember choices such as preferred language, currency, recently viewed Providers or display settings. They are not treated as strictly necessary unless the specific function cannot reasonably be supplied without them.
8. Analytics and performance technologies
Analytics technologies may collect pseudonymous device and usage information, including page views, navigation paths, referral source, approximate location derived from IP address, browser details, performance metrics and errors.
Where consent is required, analytics technologies are disabled until consent is given. Salventia configures analytics to minimise personal data, limit retention and avoid collecting the content of booking notes, payment fields, passwords or private communications.
9. Advertising technologies
Advertising technologies are used only if they are listed as active in the Cookie Settings panel. Where used, they may measure campaign attribution, limit repetition or support personalised advertising.
Advertising technologies are optional and are not activated before any required consent. Salventia does not treat creation of an Account or completion of a Booking as consent to advertising technologies or direct marketing.
10. Session replay and form protection
If a session-replay or experience-monitoring tool is enabled, it must be disclosed in Cookie Settings and used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements.
Salventia excludes or masks passwords, payment fields, Booking communications, customer-support messages, free-text booking notes and any field that could contain health information. We do not intentionally record raw keystrokes or the content of a form before it is submitted.
11. Email technologies
Service emails may contain technical links or delivery controls needed to confirm that a message was sent, prevent abuse or direct you securely to a Booking. Salventia does not currently use email tracking for promotional newsletters because it does not currently send direct-marketing communications.
If promotional email technologies are introduced later, this Policy and the Privacy Policy will be updated and any legally required consent or opt-out mechanism will be implemented first.
12. Retention
Session technologies expire when the browser or session closes. Persistent technologies remain for the period stated in the live Cookie Settings panel or until you delete them. Salventia reviews durations and uses the shortest period reasonably needed for the stated purpose.
Consent and preference records may be retained for the period needed to demonstrate and apply your choice and to comply with legal obligations.
13. Browser and device controls
Most browsers and devices allow you to view, block or delete cookies and control app permissions. Blocking all cookies may prevent login, Booking or other essential functions from working properly.
Browser settings do not always control local storage, mobile SDKs or server-side technologies. The Salventia Cookie Settings panel is the primary method for managing optional Platform technologies.
14. Changes
We may update this Policy and the live technology register when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. A new optional purpose will not be activated without the notice and choice required by applicable law.
